I know you may have heard countless stories about voodoo, slave trades, wild Mardi Gras, and witch craft within the city. Let’s not even mention the fact that New Orleans has been the Murder Capital in the USA for a time. The Big Easy is also known to be Sin City that never sleeps. I believe after Hurricane Katrina the spiritual hemisphere of the city has changed and shifted. I know some will think I’m crazy for me declaring this and that’s ok by me.. I know that GOD has allowed my eyes to be opened to many things now, that I once did not see before. So I will call on the Saints who are willing and able to go before GOD on behalf of the people in this city and intercede for their souls. Let us also pray for strength and protection for the Saints that dwell within the city and are already about our Father’s business.

There is so much that is at stake within the city if the corruption of the enemy continues to unfold. The children are suffering and many are going by the wayside because the spirit of poverty has taken over. Others are being enslaved within their minds while those who are FREE struggle to help its own community. THEY need us and our prayers will avail Much!  It’s almost as though I can hear the Lord saying to me “Tell the enemy and the demonic spirits to let my people go.” God is sending them HELP and you can be a part of it. This is warfare and the things we war with are not carnal. So today and as often as you can when you say your prayers go in for the city of New Orleans. I will forever be grateful unto you and GOD will bless you in return.

It was an honor to be in his presence once again at the open mic night at The Green Room. There was no place I would have rather been, then right there listening to the smooth sounds of this brother. Keeyen is versatile with his style of song. He embraces the Neo Soul energy and operates in it well. His spirit shines bright as he reflects the light of Most High. I was blessed to be able to see her not only once but a total of three times now. She recently performed at my favorite spot The Green Room Actors Lounge and killed it both times. Last week she performed & gave the crowd just a taste of what was to come. Then last night  4/27/2013 she was a featured artist. Boy, oh boy, she went in! She performed an original piece and blazed the stage once again. Like many underground unappreciated artist Danni Cassette has been rising to the top for a while now. She has made many debuts in local city areas within Florida, Illinois, and Georgia just to name a few. I was so intrigued by her vocals that I purchased my very own Danni Cassette CD of her latest EP The Land Of TapeHistry. I can’t stop listening to it. Yes this is definitely another artist I can’t get enough of. I love the way the Creator keeps sending me soul food… You can say I’m grateful!

The third eye (also known as the inner eye) is a mystical and esoteric concept referring in part to the ajna (brow) chakra in certain spiritual traditions. It is also spoken of as the gate that leads within to inner realms and spaces of higher consciousness. In New Age spirituality, the third eye may alternately symbolize a state of enlightenment or the evocation of mental images having deeply personal spiritual or psychological significance. The third eye is often associated with visions, clairvoyance (which includes the ability to observe chakras and auras),[1] precognition, and out-of-body experiences. People who have allegedly developed the capacity to utilize their third eyes are sometimes known as seers.

Shalom, I have recently embarked upon a journey that I am willing to share but I also realize that many will not understand and that is ok. For those who have ears let them hear! I have often wondered about the third eye theory. After beginning Maum Meditation instructed by Koreans I realized that there are so many levels of spirituality. All my life I have only had a bird’s eye view (perspective) driven by the African-American Christian Culture.

Since I have submitted to my creator (the orgin) I have opened my spirit to  all the possibilities of worship and oness with my God. I have began many theological studies all while seeking Most High. There is so much more to Relationship with God then just religion. You see I have come to know that religion is man made and well relationship with Most High well no one can create that, but you within your one on one encounters with the creator.

So back to this third eye- People it exist more than you will ever know, but you must seek it within your spiritual being. One goal is to die daily. Yes the flesh must die to allow the spirit to take control for we are spiritual beings in a fleshly capsule so when you die yes, your spirit still remains. Would you like to live in the afterlife as a dormant spirit or full of life? Well the journey begins now. No longer shall you live as a dead spirit.. Seek Most High for this knowledge that is given. Don’t be afraid to live like you have never lived before. Get out of your comfort zone.. For if you continue to live like the world you will die like the world..

There are areas within your brain that store memory; pictures if you will. Attached to those pictures are emotions whether good or bad. Your very existence has been shaped by those pictures, thoughts, memories. A mind filled with clutter.. therefore you cannot connect with the Orgin (Creator) completely  until you rid yourself of those things. In this mess you will find the enemy prowling and lurking waiting for an opportunity to prey on you!! You must allow a detox to occur.. it is a tedious process but if you are truly ready then your journey begins and then you shall truly see with what most people call the third eye. Believe me this is REAL..  This message is not for all but for those who have ears to hear.. When you are ready Jehovah, YHWH, Elohim will lead you & Jesus will walk with you.. U will never be alone.

You will begin to live lin life in the right now. No longer allowing your future to be effected by your past. The past no longer exist so why should your present be dictated by it. You are who you are right now no longer that person that you once were. Continue to journey into your TRUE ME and allow that THIRD EYE to open eternally..

My favorite artist introductions up until this point have been music artist. Well today I am delighted to introduce to you my latest inspiration Corey Whitehead. He is an independent Artist who brings life to art through his phenomenal paintings. I met Corey at Apache Cafe in Atlanta where he hosts Open Mic nights every 1st Sunday. He is very charming and witty. His eclectic aura draws the crowds in as they focus in on his latest masterpieces which are often displayed stage left.

In this fast paced world we don’t often take the time to slow down and consider the actions of our fellow mankind within our nation (America). Recently I stumbled upon a song by the artist MIGUEL entitled “Candles in the Sun” from his latest album Kaleidoscope Dream. I was intrigued by the title alone. As I listened to the melodic tone of his voice I was surprised by the lyrics of consciousness which flowed freely from his mouth. I needed a visual of this song so I searched for it on YouTube and sure enough there it was. It just recently premiered roughly 3 weeks ago. This video is raw and matches the depth of the lyrics expressed.

In this song Miguel brings us to consciousness and awareness of what is happening within our nation and the importance of our attention. He asks “Is there a God? Is HE watching? Is She watching? Are They Watching? If not What are we doing?  Where are we going?” I believe this song has spiritual connotations and spiritual minded persons should be aware of the message within this song. It is up to us to be the reflection of the LIGHT that this dark world needs. This song just portrays the necessity of our very being and purpose within life and the ministries God has given us. Take a listen and watch MIGUEL in the video below as he expresses himself within in his artistry given by the Creator. Whether he realizes it or not he has ministered to me through song and for that I am thankful unto GOD! Consciousness is what we need especially in the Music industry today! I applaud MIGUEL for taking a stand in his music to profess this TRUTH! Peace, Love & Light to you always MIGUEL!
