What is it that draws you to me and I to you?

Is it our similar creative nitches that are uniquely intertwined?

Or is it the master pieces of the orderly divine?

 

Aquarius man why do you intrigue me so?

When all the time it seems as though we have met before…

Exploring another time and place

 

Aquarius man why is it that I constantly see your face?

You are in my visions and my dreams yet too often

It seems so surreal.. the connection we share is undeniable

The cream in my coffee which I don’t even partake

But when within this state you make me wanna do

Things that I have never done before & go places I have never gone before

Or are you just the distraction I see?

Are you keeping me from my true reality?

The age of now will soon end and the age of then will begin

The Mind of The Artist

Many wonder what goes on in the mind of an artist……..

Well it seems to be a world of chaos sometimes

Filled with fantasy and reality intertwining to sever the ties of untruths

Only to find the gray lines that divides

 

One might dare to explain the pain that is within the strain of creativity

The joy that comes with releasing ideas that no one else could fathom

Love, Sorrow, Happiness, Drama……..

 

The artist is the one who doesn’t mind being different

Standing out in the crowd becomes the norm

Creating a world that many will relate to while existing in one that often times rejects them

An Outcast until their trend is accepted then it’s a fad that everyone embraces

Yet it was their truths all along they just wanted them to be hidden

 

The artist’s mind has no boundaries

It goes where most will dare to go, soaring without limits

Embodying the uniqueness of its character

Becoming whole and complete within their own craft

The mind of the artist finally developed and intertwined with yours and mine

You become apart and they a part of you…

Never In My Life

Never in my Life did I expect things to turn out this way…

All the pain and suffering that at most times lead me astray

Would be used to edify my soul and set me free

 

Never in my life did I expect this to be me

The one who spoke freely of her rise

Always standing and fighting against my demise

 

Never in my life would I have expected God to show me so much favor

Beyond my choices and defiant labor

Never in my life did I truly feel I would one day

Conquer all these things which had me bound…..

 

Yet I continue walk in my purpose and my destiny

Now realizing my mind could never fathom the plans God has for me

So instead I give all to God something that hadn’t come naturally

 

Well now I know that even in my Never In Life moments

What I purposed and see yet remains a mystery to me……

The only one who has the answers I seek is YHWH, Most High,

My Creator whose spirit lives within me

 

So I seek like never before, chasing after God as only I know

Never In This Life did I think I would ever have so much peace

Yet now I am free and who God has set free is free indeed

 

All Glory unto God for this new perspective on life that I have found….

Foregoing my original theory of Never In My Life…

No Longer Bound… Set Free

You are a child of God.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,

**I first experienced this feeling when I walked through the doors of The Green Room Actor’s Lounge!! Today I am grateful for this haven that has shown me so much LOVE and given me Hope and Promise. I am most thankful unto YHWH for leading me to this place and for Terri J Vaughn for allowing the vision to be birthed through her.**

 

 

 

Freestyle Flow…

I once wondered what life would be like if I took another route

The what ifs the could haves and should haves ….

Well no longer will I live in th past

 

It’s time for me to make things happen!

Dreams and aspirations must become my reality.

No half stepping, allowing nothing to hold me back..

 

Because what God has for me is for me

What have I been afraid of?

True success beyond what my mind can fathom?

 

I have dared to drean of what truly shall become of me

I know there is purpose in my destiny….

So I stay  steady on my grind with completion on my mind……

 

One day soon what once was willbe within me

Me living my true life eternally

Remaining TRUE to ME.

Even Now Faith!!

The darkness surrounds me…

Yes, I was elevated

But those devils are coming harder now!

 

They mad saying, “We put our demons in place and she still thriving!”

Yeah I got shook but I refuse to give up and let satan win.

I am victorious not because I said so but because my Creator chose me

 

So yeah that makes me different, salt in the city!

The more I grind the harder it gets

Yet I am fueled by the Most High

 

To keep it moving, stay hustling hard and praying harder

Still I will rise because YHWH is on my side

Elevation is my life and with it comes strife

 

The difference between me and them is I already won!

No matter what my circumstance says I’m winning in CHRIST!

I will continue on this journey knowing my purpose and vision.

 

YHWH is my Sun and guiding Light

Through the darkness I will Shine

Victory is Mine!! Elevation…

 

Unhealthy Emotional Soul Ties – BREAK FREE!!

There are times in our lives when we allow ourselves to intertwine

With souls that are far from divine, but in the midst of life

We don’t realize that this tie is an entrapment until it is revealed

 

Even though you have lived this way for so long

Accepting this tie as REAL love; truly that is not what it is

It is an evil force that has come to suck you dry and keep you bound

 

What does a healthy emotional soul tie  look like?

It fills you up and adds to you

It Loves as God loves unconditionally and prevails thru all things

It never fails..

 

Unhealthy emotional soul ties destroy your very being

It disguises itself as REAL LOVE so that you accept it

It longs for you to harbor it and feed it so that it may grow

Only to leave you empty-handed and feeling a void longing for it more and more

 

It will never satisfy you, no matter how long you hold on

It has come to kill your dreams of TRUE LOVE and make u feel inadequate

Because you have endured this pain so long it becomes a norm

You accept it and deny yourself the TRUTH

 

This Unhealthy Emotional Soul tie must be CUT

In order for you to prosper and elevate in TRUTH

So you ask what do I do?

Let go and Let God!!

 

Be honest and let the revelation of this truth marinate within you

Surrender to the only power that can bring you thru

Allow YHWH (God) to guide you on this journey

Truth will set you FREE and RELEASE this tie that has had u bound!

It’s never too late to LIVE! The journey begins now… Unhealthy emotional soul ties no longer…

Knowledge is Power… GET FREE!!!!
